September 24, 1934 - Animator Frank Thomas begins his career at the Disney Studios. He will go on to become one of Walt's Nine Old Men and a Disney Legend.
September 29, 1958 - The band Firehouse Five Plus Two, made up of Disney employees including Harper Goff, Ward Kimball, and Frank Thomas, releases their album "Firehouse Five Plus Two - 16 Dixieland Favorites."
September 23, 1971 - The Dapper Dans barbershop quartet debuts at the Magic Kingdom's Main Street. The group has been a Park staple ever since.
