Here’s one of those “must sees” I talk about this time of year. Nestled right in the Grand Canyon Concourse of Disney’s Contemporary Resort is an amazing 17-foot gingerbread tree decorated with chocolate ornaments and candy canes.
To build it, we use nearly 5,000 shingles and more than 1,000 pounds of honey. And while it takes 3 days to decorate, here’s a look at how it’s done in about a minute.
Now for the Numb3rs:
- 1,050 pounds of honey
- 800 pounds of flour
- 600 pounds of powdered sugar
- 35 pounds of spices
- 600 pounds of chocolate
- 180 pounds of apricot glaze
