Here’s one of those “must sees” I talk about this time of year. Nestled right in the Grand Canyon Concourse of Disney’s Contemporary Resort is an amazing 17-foot gingerbread tree decorated with chocolate ornaments and candy canes.
To build it, we use nearly 5,000 shingles and more than 1,000 pounds of honey. And while it takes 3 days to decorate, here’s a look at how it’s done in about a minute. Now for the Numb3rs:
1,050 pounds of honey
800 pounds of flour
600 pounds of powdered sugar
35 pounds of spices
600 pounds of chocolate
180 pounds of apricot glaze

If you live in Central Florida and may be able to cover press events (potentially including mid-week press events), that may be considered a plus.
If you think that you've got what it takes to join our staff, send e-mail to Tony Caselnova with your idea for a topic or perspective that you'd like to cover and a little information about yourself. Or you can use or writers contact form
