As I begin to type this post, there are a mere 66 days until Halloween. For all practical purposes, that's just around the corner. This begs two questions: "Will you be ready?" and "Gina, just how did you know how many days until Halloween?"

In answer to the second question, I suppose I could have calculated the number of days until Halloween with a fairly simple mathematical formula, but instead, I chose a much more whimsical way. I consulted the Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas Clock, available now at DisneyStore.com.

You see, Halloween is one of my favorite holidays (along with Thanksgiving, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, New Year's Day, Presidents Day, Chinese New Year, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Cinco De Mayo, Memorial Day, The Fourth of July, Labor Day and Veterans Day,) so it's important to me to stay on top of things in order to properly prepare for a spooktacularly good time on October 31. By knowing just exactly how many days I have until Halloween, I can plan ahead to make sure I've got everything I need to celebrate in true Disney style: Halloween decor, festive Halloween apparel and, of course, costumes and accessories. And thanks to Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas Clock, which features a working countdown to Halloween, staying on schedule is frightfully fun.

So, now that we've answered the question of how I knew the number of days until Halloween, the first question still remains. It's a question only you can answer: Will you be ready for Halloween?
